Today being the 11th day of the 11th month. I hope everyone commited to two minutes silence at 11 am today. I always feel people loose sight of why we do this. People just think it's about all the lives lost during WW1. Ofcourse that is what started it, but it also applies to all the members of our Armed Forces that have given their lives to defend our country, in all the years after that.

Since WW2, there has only been one year that a member of our Armed Forces has not died in action. If all the ones who have died from WW1 until now were to be lined up. That line would run from the Cenotaph in London, all the way to Edinburgh. Thaink about that, think about how many people that would have to be, to make suck a line.

No matter what you political views may be, you cannot deny the sacrifice that our Forces have made, and continue to make on a daily basis. Again, no matter what you political views may be. They do this in your name, for your freedom, for your right to live as you do in a free democracy. Please remember what out Forces do for us, not just today, but every day. Because they do that job every day, for us.

I'll leave you with this little video. Take the time to read the text in the video. It really does describe what being a soldier is like.

RIP fallen comrades............
